Riven prest brick replicates the look of stone with contoured sides and a face textured to simulate natural riven stone. Riven refers to the surface of flags, which is a natural bedding plane within the rock from which the flagstone is quarried. A natural riven surface is achieved by splitting blocks of stone,creating uneven surfaces with crevices and clefts. Riven prest brick has a wider joint so a quality polymeric sand is needed for joint filling. All sizes are rectangular and the paver is 3" thick. Available in four colors. 4x8 Square Edge
The 4" x 8" Prest Brick with Square Edge finish gives the appearance of clay brick pavers with the strength of a concrete paver. Available in Terracotta, Quarry Red, and Russet Blend(shown here) colors. Square edge gives a nice clean look and is great for bordering appian style pavers. Also, it's a standard style paver so the price is great.
